Derek finally faces his evil past
Derek finally faces his evil past

The Police arrive at Wishing Well and inform them it's bad news – there’s not enough evidence to go to court, they’re sorry but the case is closed. Lisa is devastated while Zak is furious that there’s no chance of getting justice for his wife. Lisa tells him not to let this ruin their lives – they need to put it behind them.

As she heads to work, Zak broods and furiously storms towards the van. Sam alerts Lisa to Zak’s behaviour and she races to Derek’s house. Meanwhile, an irate Zak is banging on the door screaming threats. Terrified Derek bolts the door, but it’s not enough, as Zak kicks down the back door and confronts him...

Elsewhere it's clear Jackson is uncomfortable but Aaron is upbeat and in love as he tries to feed Jackson breakfast. When he arrives home Hazel senses all is not well and later asks Aaron what happened as Jackson’s been in a foul mood all day. When Aaron insists he’s done nothing wrong, Hazel is worried Jackson has had a change of heart.

When Carl announces that the police have released their van, Jimmy’s disappointed that there’s no further evidence – however, everyone’s stunned when Jimmy remembers something about Tom and Charity. In the pub, Nicola keeps her distance, determined to give Jimmy his space – she’s grateful when Scarlett tells her Jimmy remembered something, but it's small consolation. Jimmy’s confused when he gets a call from a woman who claims to know him. She doesn’t give her name and Jimmy doesn’t recognise her voice, so hands the phone to Carl, but the caller has hung up.
