Newlywed Janine vows revenge on Stacey when she learns the truth about Lily. She complains to the authorities that Stacey has been neglecting baby Lily, but when social workers turn up to check on the tot they realise it has been a hoax.
Stacey then flips out when she realises what Janine has done, and attacks her in the Square but conniving Janine doesn’t fight back.
After being attacked, Janine decides to go to the police to report that she was an innocent victim in the assault and has lots of witnesses. She thinks Stacey deserves to lose Lily. Ryan manages to find Janine just as she is about to go inside the police station. He tells Janine that if she goes through with her plan, she cannot come back from it. What will Janine do?
Elsewhere Zsa Zsa and Leon prepare to bid farewell to Walford and Abi is embarrassed when she learns from Max that Darren knows she likes him. Lauren and Max try to help Abi by informing Darren that Abi does not like him; and as he continues to worry about Lauren, Max calls Tanya for help.
Meanwhile Shirley and Kat get into an argument but end up introducing themselves properly when they realise they are so similar.
