Natasha plans to come clean to Nick, but he proposes before she gets a chance. Stunned, Natasha accepts Nick's proposal and they head over to The Rovers to celebrate. Gail walks into the party and is concerned to hear of the engagement.
Later, as Gail heads home, she decides to pay a call to the medical centre and take a look at Natasha's records, which contain the shocking truth about her baby.
Unsure what to do, Gail eventually decides to confront Natasha, who confirms everything but begs Gail to let her tell Nick.
Later, when Gail arrives at the house and discovers that Natasha is doing anything but telling Nick, she blurts out the whole story. Nick tries to throw Gail out - but will Natasha confirm Gail is telling the truth?
Later in the week and unable to cope, Natasha takes drastic action.
Meanwhile, Rosie enlists Jason's help, and borrowing her dad's car, they head to Cumbria to bring Sophie and Sian home. When they arrive back in Weatherfield, a relieved Sally and Kevin are just grateful to have them home - all arguments are forgotten for now.
