'Fair City's Paul is in a right tizzy this week when Niamh gets back from holidays with some shocking news. Peggy brings Sam Mitchell home from jail in 'EastEnders', much to Bianca's dismay. In 'Coronation Street' Luke bites off more than he can chew when he decides to dump Rosie and in 'Emmerdale' Cain puts a stop to Michael's lying to Debbie. These and lots more soap news and spoilers in 'Soap Watch'.

FAIR CITY

Niamh begins to keep an eye on YvonneGiven what he's been up to Paul is at his wits end when Niamh arrives home. Dying to snuggle up to her husband, Paul is wracked with guilt and unable to look her in the eye. The situation gets a lot more interesting when an excited Niamh announces that she thinks she's pregnant. Panicking, Paul struggles with his decision to tell her about his fling with Yvonne, who has other things on her mind too. Connie is eager to tell everyone about their relationship, yet Yvonne is still trying to get the courage to tell her dad.

When it transpires that Niamh isn't pregnant, Paul is momentarily pre-occupied with consoling her but still has to decide whether he'll spill the beans.

It seems Yvonne isn't the only one keeping things from Bela - Carol and Christy are still all loved up but Christy is not comfortable with public displays of affection, at least not in front of Bela.

Spoiler alert! News of Yvonne and Connie's love affair has travelled like wild fire around Carrigstown and after bribing Duncan to let him stay on in the Kelly household, he teases Yvonne about her lesbian lover.

'Fair City's' cast and crew gathered in McCoy's last week to celebrate twenty years of the popular Irish soap. The soap first aired in September 1989 with one episode a week for a limited run and now fans can enjoy the show four times a week. 'Fair City' is currently airing a fortnight of specially commissioned episodes to mark the anniversary which has a fictional adjunct in the Carrigstown Centenary celebrations.

Brigie de Courcy, Executive Producer of 'Fair City' said: "If you think the first twenty years were special, just wait. Storylines to come will be more gripping and more talked about than ever before.

"Viewing figures regularly exceed 500,000 and the popularity of the show is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the wonderful cast, writers and crew."

'Fair City' airs Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 8pm, and Wednesdays at the new time of 7.30pm as of 30 September.

EASTENDERS
Peggy isn't the only one happy to see Sam homePeggy is relieved to finally have the funds to pay off Sam's bail and get her home to the Vic this week. However she can't relax for long because Archie has plans to get his revenge on the Mitchell's and regain control of the pub.

Stacey's behaviour during the Queen Vic contest confuses everyone, especially Billy. Hearing that Bradley is moving to Canada, she comes off her medication.

Tanya is very uncomfortable with Ian and their life-swap experiment, particularly when he pays her an unexpected and uninvited visit in bed however Jane is thoroughly enjoying Max's company!

Bianca is less thrilled to see Sam home so soonTanya goes to sleep in the Beale's bed on Tuesday night and is joined by a drunken and amorous Ian, who does not realise that his wife is elsewhere.
After regaining her composure somewhat, Tanya says: "Disgusting little man." Bianca is heartbroken when she sees Ricky and Sam share a kiss as she watches from a distance.

News: EastEnders star says twins "a miracle"
'EastEnders' star Jo Joyner has been discussing her delight at becoming pregnant after receiving IVF treatment.
Joyner, who plays Tanya Branning in the soap, and husband Neil Madden are expecting twins.
In an interview with OK! magazine, the actress said: "We had been trying over the course of four years. You go for fertility tests and we found out it was unlikely we'd have children naturally so we went for it.
Plenty of drama ahead for Tanya this week"We're quite young and there was still a chance we could conceive, so we decided to give it three tries and if it didn't work out, we'd reassess and look into adoption."
Joyner became pregnant after her first cycle of IVF treatment.
"We're very lucky," she said. "It's a miracle, really. That's why we're not secretive about it."
She added: "I was very sick for the first four months. I've been wanting to be pregnant for so long you can't really complain."

EastEnders to screen first live episode
'EastEnders' is to broadcast a live episode for the first time to mark the programme's 25th anniversary next year.
The 30-minute episode will crown a week of special episodes in February next year as Albert Square celebrates its milestone birthday.

Although plot details have yet to be announced, producers said the instalment will round off a major storyline in the BBC1 series.
'EastEnders' will follow shows such as 'ER', 'The Bill' and Stacey won't be smiling much this week'Coronation Street' by screening a live episode which will keep cast and crew on their toes. The show will be broadcast from its usual home at Elstree Studios on Friday, February 19.

'EastEnders' executive producer, Diederick Santer, said: "It's too early to discuss the exact storyline at this point, but viewers are assured that this live episode will bring them all the high drama and excitement they expect from EastEnders and then some.
"The episode will feature - amongst other things - the resolution to a big storyline which will keep the audience (as well as the cast and crew) guessing until the very last moment.

"Every time I think about this episode I get excited as well as a little nervous, but nonetheless we are all thrilled to be celebrating our 25 years on screen with a live episode. It's a big test for every member of the production here, and hopefully a big treat for the audience."

CORONATION STREET
Luke has his hands full breaking up with RosieLuke can't seem to make-up his mind between Rosie and Michelle but eventually tells Michelle that he's chosen her...he just has to tell Rosie! It really is Michelle's week because Liz is so fed up waiting to see if Leanne is going to take her bar job back, that she offers Michelle a shift in The Rovers Return. Although her week ends on a very dramatic note when she and Rosie get into a bit of a cat fight.

Elsewhere Norris is shocked to discover he's the sole beneficiary of Ramsay's will. Going through his belongings he finally breaks down when he discovers secrets that his mother had kept from him and he finally begins to grieve his half-brother.

Poor Norris has to face factsSpoiler Alert! Corrie's Tony targets new victims
Almost a year after 'Coronation Street' villain Tony Gordon ordered Liam Connor's killing, he is set to add two more victims to his death toll. According to The Sun, murderous Tony decides he must bump off loveable couple Roy and Hayley Cropper after they discover he was behind Liam's death.
The factory boss (Gray O'Brien) threatens to take both their lives after confessing to Roy about his part in the murder on what he thinks is his deathbed in Weatherfield General Hospital.
Roy (David Neilson) finds Tony after he has a heart attack and stays with him in intensive care, where he's not expected to survive the night.
Tony is lining up more victimsThinking he's about to die, Tony tells Roy: "There's something I have to say - I killed Liam! I killed him!"
However in an unusual twist of fate, Tony makes an unexpected recovery and Roy orders him to hand himself in to police at once. When Roy threatens to tell the police, Tony warns him he might "have a tragic accident".
Poor Roy makes things worse by confiding in wife Hayley (Julie Hesmondhalgh), who advises him to go to the police straight away.
Then Tony soon finds out that Hayley knows his secret too in the gripping Christmas plot. A source said: "The storyline will come to a climax in the New Year. The writers thought Roy and Hayley would be ideal to be a big part of the plotline that sees evil Tony finally get his comeuppance."

Spoiler Alert! Cancer storyline for Corrie's Sally
Cheating Corrie mechanic Kevin Webster is torn when he discovers his wife Sally is battling breast cancer. The love rat has been seeing business partner Tyrone Dobbs' wife, Molly, while his wife has been fearing for her life. She secretly visits the doctor who confirms a lump is cancerous. Kevin and Molly had made plans to start a new life together - then Sally tells him (Michael Le Vell) she has the disease. He is torn between his wife and two kids or Molly (Vicky Binns) on the ITV soap in November.

According to The Sun, actress Sally Whittaker, who plays Sally, Sally Webster faces a breast cancer battleonce feared she had breast cancer after finding a lump.
She said: "I was lucky it proved to be nothing but the time spent waiting for results was agonising."

Sally added: "I am determined to do this storyline justice for all the women out there who are going through what Sally is." Producers at the Weatherfield soap are working hand-in-hand with a panel of breast cancer experts and charities to ensure that Sally's story is portrayed as realistically as possible.

A 'Coronation Street' spokesperson added: "Breast cancer is a disease which affects so many women and their families. We are keen to ensure that the storyline accurately reflects the many problems and issues faced by breast cancer sufferers."
Producers uncharacteristically took the decision to release story information earlier than usual to enable the show to work openly and closely with its panel of experts.

News: Jones unlikely to return to Corrie
Suranne Jones has said it's unlikely she'll go back to 'Coronation Street' to reprise her role as Karen McDonald.
With the soap set to celebrate its 50th anniversary next year, rumours have swirled as to which old favourites will make a re-Suranne Jones' unlikely to return to Corrieappearance in the soap.
But when asked if she would ever go back, Suranne said: "Probably not."

She went on: "I speak to Simon (Gregson) all the time and on my phone it comes up as Steve McDonald! I miss the people that I was friends with but I don't think Karen will be coming back."
The 30-year-old explained that, although she misses her pals, she doesn't miss the "scheduling and the hard work".

Earlier this year, Katherine Kelly, who plays Steve's new wife Becky, told how she and Suranne were keen to appear on the soap together to film a catfight. Suranne said: "I think Kate Kelly's brilliant. I know her quite well off screen - we drink together. It's funny when we're in the pub together and people go 'Oh my God, it's Karen and Becky together!'"

News: Curly for Coronation Street return?
'Coronation Street's Kevin Kennedy has said he would like to revive his character Curly Watts. The 48-year-old actor, who played geeky Curly for 20 years, is rumoured to have a lead role in the show's 50th anniversary celebrations next year, but he told BBC London 94.9FM's breakfast show he doesn't know if the reports are true.

Kevin said: "The thing is, like any kind of weird sort of wonderful Curly for Corrie return?situation, you work for a big company and the actor is probably the last person to know what's going on - no one's said anything to me."

He also revealed there had been plans for Curly to return to the Street as a jail bird. Kevin said: "There were a few ideas floating around for the character to come back and one of the ideas is that he actually comes out of jail where the viewers actually see that but obviously the rest of the residents of 'Coronation Street' don't know a) that he's been in jail and b) what for.

"Whereas the viewers, like most very good soap storylines, are in on it but the other characters aren't. And I don't know what happened to that idea that was one of the ideas that was being floated around and that was a while back."
A 'Coronation Street' spokesperson said: "There have currently been no discussions between producers and Kevin Kennedy."

Cain makes sure Michael gets the message to stay awayEMMERDALE
Michael's ruffling of Cain's feathers comes to a head this week when it emerges that he's getting married next week. As you might guess given the feisty Dingle's history, Michael ends up against a wall, with Cain threatening to take his life if he doesn't leave the village. When Debbie issues Michael an ultimatum – her or his wedding, he chooses Debbie, which is little consolation to Cain.

Elsewhere Jai and Nikhil can't seem to agree on anything but Nikhil is quick to remind him who is the boss! Leyla steals cash from Home Farm and Katie spends a passionate evening with Ryan.
Talking Home Farm, not only has Mark realise that he loves his son, Ryan but he also has feelings for Faye much to poor Natasha's despair.

Poor Natasha discovers Faye's cunning agendaSpoiler Alert! We can say what we like about Cain but he loves Debbie and is all too eager to put his money where his mouth is. When he finds out that Michael's been telling more porkies to his daughter Cain leaves him with no choice but to come clean about his wedding plans.

NEIGHBOURS
Following last week's car crash, everyone scrambles to save the Parkers. A concussed Bridget is wandering the out back with her daughter before eventually being found by Steve. She's rushed to hospital but has severe internal injuries...

HOLLYOAKS
Gilly wins a dream holiday in a radio competition and steps in to save the day when Steph forgets Fernando's birthday. The freshers arrive into Hollyoaks and new-girl India makes a right fool of herself before being further humiliated by Hayley.

Rachel is having a tough week and admits to Leah that she's not coping. She reluctantly takes Tony up on his offer to mind Harry so that she can have some time to herself. She later freaks out when she spots Jane spying on her family.

News: Home and Away star quits the show
It has been announced that Lincoln Lewis who plays Geoff Campbell in 'Home and Away' will be leaving the Australian soap after two years. Digital Spy reports that 21-year-old Lewis is set to film his final scenes on set tomorrow before starting work on a film called 'Tomorrow: When The War Began'.

Commenting on his departure Lewis said "It's sad to be leaving the cast and crew on 'Home and Away'. It was a hard decision to make, but I also think it's the right time to go." He continued "I've been working in the training for the film with my commitments on 'Home and Away', so it's been pretty busy." The young actor was at the centre of controversy this summer when he admitted to inappropriately filming himself with an actress.

Speaking to the Australian media at the time he said "You do stupid things when you are young, But you learn from your mistakes, that's part of growing up. This mistake, and what I have learnt, will contribute a lot to making me a better person in the future."

Frances, Tadhg, Máire with the new baby girlReturning from the summer break, Ros na Rún hits the ground for season 14 of the TG4 soap which will feature three weddings, a grisly murder, dodgy business deals, blackmail, backstabbing and more.

This week the focus is on Mack and Róise who end up chatting and drinking the night away on his stag. He confesses that he wants to call off his wedding to Adelaide and the two end up in bed together the night before he's due to walk down the aisle.

Tadhg is in for a shock when Frances goes into early labour. The ambulance is on the way but the baby can't wait until then. Luckily Sarah and Máire are on hand to help to deliver the baby girl. Máire soon realises all is not right and tries her best to calm the new parents while they wait for the paramedics to arrive. Will Frances and Tadhg’s baby joy end in despair?

Adelaide is in for a big shock thanks to Mack's change of heartNext week Jason has a big decision to make when his new baby step-sister needs his bone marrow in order to survive. The question is whether he can put his anger at his father to one side in order to help the baby or whether he'll use this as an opportunity to seek revenge.

Spoiler Alert! Jilted bride Adelaide discovers that she is pregnant, leaving both her and Mack with some big decisions to make.
