Occupation: Student Nurse
Age: 24
"My name is Hannah Mooney, and I am proud to say I am from Co Monaghan, from a small parish called Aughnamullen East. I have two older brothers, who sometimes act more like bouncers, and it's safe to say I'm a Daddy's Girl!
"I am in my final year of Adult Nursing in Queen's University, Belfast, and will soon qualify as a Registered Nurse, following in the footsteps of my mum. I believe in positive body image, regardless of shape or size. Fitness and health are extremely important to me on both a personal and professional level, especially in an era where young women can be fixated on their perception of the ideal body, rather than health and wellbeing.
"Myself and my family are community-focussed, with music playing a huge part in our lives, as well as GAA. Overall, I enjoy the simple things in life, such as spending time with family and friends.
"Having taken the scenic route to my degree, I am a strong advocate for alternative pathways in further education. Nothing is impossible, and often the scenic route has the best views!"
