25-year-old Clarissa was born in Hong Kong and was raised speaking Cantonese and Mandarin in school and English at home. She also speaks fluent Japanese having spent a year studying in Tokyo. 

Clarissa studied a BA in Modern and Classical Chinese at SOAS, University of London, which incorporated one year in Beijing. While studying she participated in the Chinese Bridge, a linguistics competition, and came third for the UK.

 After graduation she returned to Hong Kong, where she co-founded Bao Bao Films and ChinaWest Films. She loves using languages and collaborating with creative minds.
