23-year-old Orlagh was born and raised in Saval, a small community in the heart of Co Down, close to the Mourne Mountains. She grew up on an farm but swapped her wellies for Irish dancing shoes at a young age to win two All-Ireland Gold medals for Irish team dancing.
Orlagh has just completed a five year degree in Medicine at Queens University Belfast. She loves all outdoor activities, especially walking the Mourne Mountains, skiing, water sports and horse-riding.
Orlagh is a keen traveller and last summer she visited Dubai, Singapore, Bali and Australia She is a very musical person and sings and plays the piano in her free time.
"Throughout the next year I will be acting as a charity champion for Cancer Fund for Children and hope to make my family, the Down Rose Centre and the County Down community proud."
