24-year-old Sarah was born and raised in the Oak Leaf County, not far from the breath taking views of Binevenagh mountain and the winding River Roe.

As a primary school teacher Sarah enjoys working alongside young children and loves helping to develop their skills and qualities as young people.

In 2015 she became the Youth Officer and Irish Language Development Officer for the Jimmy O’Hara Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann Roe Valley organisation which promotes Irish traditions through music, dance and song.

This year, Sarah hopes to raise the Doire flag at the peak of each of the highest mountains in the four provinces of Ireland to raise money for the charity Chest, Heart and Stroke; a charity very close to her own heart!

"Here’s to the beginning of what is sure to be a fantastic and life-changing experience - DOIRE ABÚ!"
