Aisling is 26-years-old and grew up in Kingscourt in Cavan, where she attended primary school, before moving St Louis Secondary School in Carrickmacross in Monaghan. After her Leaving Cert, she began studying at Trinity College Dublin, but realised that Natural Science wasn’t the right course for her.
She had wanted to become a pharmacist but didn't achieve the points required. But after much encouragement from her mother and some self-belief, she filled in the UCAS form to study Pharmacy in the UK.
Since then Aisling has lived in Liverpool for just under seven years and loves it. Travelling is a huge passion of hers and she constantly adds to her 'to do' list.
One of the things she's looking forward to most about the Festival is meeting all the other Roses and making plans for reunions all over the globe in the future.
