This 21-year-old from Termon in Carrickmore is a third year student teacher at St Mary’s University College in Belfast, studying Primary education with Irish.
As someone who has played for both the local club Carrickmore and for Tyrone, Niamh fully appreciates how special it is to be involved with the GAA community.
The eldest of three children, sister Bláthnaid and brother Patrick, her parents Paula and Barry are from East and West Tyrone, and her dad recently became the MP for West Tyrone.
A student at St Mary’s, she lives in Belfast during the week and usually spends weekends working in Sally's of Omagh, and she' very grateful to them for sponsoring her throughout her Rose experience.
As well as a love for the Irish language, Niamh has a keen interest in singing and has 'a few' Ulster titles to her name.
