Laragh Village resident Maria Murnaghan is having quite the August, receiving her Leaving Cert results and taking part in the Rose of Tralee. After the Festival, she wants to train as a nurse.
A country music fan, Maria enjoys going to bands and dances as often as she can, especially to see Derek Ryan.
"I always wanted to be a nurse. I would love to think that I can try my best to help care for people when they need someone the most. Nursing will be a hard job but it will be very rewarding."
