Erin Moran was born in Sydney, Australia to Irish parents, Eugene and Bernadette, and is from the "friendly town" of Ballinamore, Co Leitrim. The family moved back to Ireland when only child Erin was two-and-a-half years of age.
She studied for a Bachelor of Education degree at St Patrick's College, Drumcondra and is now a primary school teacher in Co Kildare. Erin loves her job and while she describes it as "challenging at times", she says she is very fortunate to have found an occupation that is so rewarding. Away from work, she has completed a Certificate in Holocaust Education and volunteers with the Irish Pilgrimage Trust to bring young people with disabilities to Lourdes.
"I am very excited for the year ahead, to be part of the Rose family and in meeting my fellow Rose sisters and Rose escorts. I hope I do you all proud."
