Mountmellick native Maeve Dunne studied Psychology and Geography in NUI Galway, followed by a Masters in Management at Smurfit Business School. Until recently she was a competitive Irish dancer, winning both World and All Ireland Championship medals.
Competitive dancing gave Maeve the chance to see the world and after two years in Sydney working on motivational speaker events, she returned home earlier this year.
"I am very excited about the road to Tralee, and I am honoured to represent not just my County of Laois, but also my hometown of Mountmellick."
