Ellen McCready is a first-generation Aussie with her parents emigrating from Ireland in the late 80s. Both of her parents were Mum and Dad were born and raised in Dublin. Some of her fondest memories of her trips to Ireland include drinking tea, eating chocolate and playing cards with her great aunts and many cousins, as well as driving the windy roads of Donegal where her dad’s paternal family originated.
She studied a Bachelor Degree of International Hotel and Tourism Management at the University of Queensland and now works as an Event Planning Manager at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. She got to work on exciting projects such as the Australian National Basketball League’s Brisbane Games and the Premier's Sustainability Awards.
Ellen is looking forward to making new friendships and more memories during her Rose experience.
