20-year-old Rochelle Blake and was born and raised in Darwin. Her Irish heritage is prominent through both her mother and father’s bloodline, with her ancestors originating from Galway, Monaghan, Clare and Limerick. Rochelle began Irish dancing when she was 6-years-old. She currently works as a Traffic Coordinator with Channel Nine Darwin, with her work focusing on the scheduling of advertisements.
Rochelle says she is still on the path of finding herself, which is what initially led her to the Rose of Tralee. She loves a challenge and to "take every opportunity with an open mind so I can grow beyond my boundaries".
"I am forever grateful for the experiences I am yet to face and am blessed to represent my hometown and most importantly share a touch of Darwin’s culture with my Rose sisters."
