Marie Hennessy is 25 years old and is from Rooska, located a short distance from the town of Newcastle West. She teaches Irish and English in Desmond College Secondary school and job which she absolutely loves. After finishing her studies, she moved to UAE to live and work in an International school. Weekends and holidays were spent playing Gaelic football, travelling around the Middle East and South East Asia. The highlight was the first ever the GAA World Games to be hosted in Abu Dhabi. She's also extremely passionate about the preservation and promotion of the Irish language.
