Prepare to feel old. MMMBoppers Hanson are back!

Hanson back in their 90s heyday

It was one of the most insanely catchy earworms of the '90s.

On the back of the global success of MMMBop and its nonsense lyrics, not to mention the clean-cut image and flowing blonde manes which left teenage girls weak at the knees, Hanson became a pop force to be reckoned with.

Now twenty - twenty! - years after they rocked to the top of the charts, the boys are back with a new single, I Was Born, and are making fans feel really old.

Not only are the trio all grown up but between them the brothers have twelve children of their own who all feature in the video of the new song.

The band popped up on Good Morning Britain on ITV to promote their upcoming 25th anniversary tour and explained that they've being going strong since their chart heyday.

Not only have they six albums under their belt, they've also got their own record label, beer brand and music festival.

Zac, the youngest member of the group, said it was "wild" the brothers had so much success when they were so young.

"We started the band 25 years ago, MMMBop came out about 20 years ago and you're always dreaming of the things you want to do and, in one respect, expecting success because you're a kid and want to be successful.

"But when that stuff happens, that song was number one in 27 countries at the same time, it's wild."

Their current sound is a world away from the cheery pop from their teen stardom days but they admit there is more than a hint of nostalgia in their new song as they reflect back on their early success.

"We wrote this song, which connects to the idea of us being a band for so long and being young and dreaming of what we would want to do with our lives and seeing it become a reality".
