Valerie Perrine, Superman star and Oscar nominee, dies

The death has been announced of the American actress Valerie Perrine, best known for her role as Eve in the Superman franchise and her Oscar-nominated performance in the biopic Lenny. She was 82 and had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2015.
