The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable writer-director M Night Shyamalan has returned with a new chiller, The Visit.

It tells the story of a brother and sister who discover that things are not what they seem when they go to stay with their grandparents in rural Pennsylvania.

On his recent visit to Dublin, the filmmaker told Harry Guerin about the inspiration for The Visit, making a chiller on a small budget, and how he avoids playing it safe.

The Visit is in cinemas from September 9.
