Northern Irish trio Ash have announced a 30th anniversary edition of their debut album 1977 and will play an extensive world tour including shows in Dublin and Belfast this December.
Originally released in 1996, 1977, featuring songs such as Girl From Mars, Goldfinger, Kung Fu, and Oh Yeah. was a No 1 hit in Ireland and the UK.
The band's 1977 tour will start in September, with stops across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and Europe - with Japanese dates to be announced shortly - before wrapping up in Ireland in December with shows at the Olympia, Dublin on 9 December and Ulster Hall, Belfast on 10 December.
Ash will also live stream a concert from Belfast's Oh Yeah Centre on 6 May, 30 years to the day since 1977's original release.
The 30th anniversary edition of 1977 will be available on double LP EcoRecord Green and Black 'InkPlosion’ vinyl in a Gatefold Sleeve, a double CD Digisleeve plus booklet, and digitally.

The two LP version includes the original album with a collection of B-sides, including Day Of The Triffids, Luther Ingo’s Star Cruiser, Astra Conversations With Toulouse Lautrec, Cantina Band, Sneaker, and T Rex.
