Dara Ó Briain will be back with "a five-episode special summer series" of Mock the Week on TLC this summer, Warner Bros Discovery UK & Ireland has announced.

The new series will begin on TLC at 9pm on Sunday, 7 June, with host Ó Briain joined by series regular Rhys James and other top comedians.

"Watch as sport - via a World Cup stateside - politics, and pop culture collide against the backdrop of a sizzling summer news agenda," said Warner Bros Discovery UK & Ireland.

"The Prime Minister in trouble, the world running out of oil, and the most chaotic World Cup in history about to start? Well, that sounds like a week worth mocking," said Ó Briain.

"Of course we're back!"

Mock the Week ran on BBC Two for 17 years until it was decommissioned in 2022.

The series returned, now in its new home on digital channel TLC, in February 2026.
