Adam Thomas has been crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa after a tense live final.

The 37-year-old actor was voted the winner by the public during Friday night’s final, earning the title of "ultimate legend 2026".

Olympian Mo Farah finished in second place, while former football manager Harry Redknapp came third and actor and DJ Craig Charles placed fourth.

Thomas was crowned by Sam Thompson, who won I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2023.

The live final also saw tensions resurface between Thomas, former footballer Jimmy Bullard and former boxer David Haye, following rows that had played out during the series.

Bullard accused Thomas of being "abusive, aggressive and intimidating" during an earlier exchange in camp, and claimed some of the row had not been shown to viewers.

Host Anthony McPartlin disagreed with Bullard’s characterisation of the incident, saying: "No, it wasn’t, I was there."

Thomas said he took "full responsibility" for his actions and added that he had "nothing but love for Jimmy".

Haye then interrupted the exchange, telling Thomas: "You’ve got a funny way of showing it."

The discussion became increasingly heated after Haye was asked about comments he had made on the show. He said he liked to "say it like I see it" and claimed the programme had been edited in Thomas’s favour.

"We all had banter back and forth, and a lot of it was cut out from their side," he said.

Sinitta and Gemma Collins defended Thomas during the exchange, before walking off set.

Earlier in the episode, Collins had described Thomas as her "hero" and said she wanted him to win.

After being named the winner, Thomas said his time on the show had been a "blast".

Farrah described the experience as "amazing" and "entertaining", while Redknapp said he had "really enjoyed" his time on the series.

The final four contestants had earlier faced insects, reptiles and other creepy crawlies in a series of pre-recorded trials filmed last autumn, as they competed for stars for their final jungle banquet.

During the final Ant and Dec sent "support and love" to Beverley Callard, who was unable to attend the live event.

The former Coronation Street star left camp earlier in the week due to undisclosed health issues, which were later revealed to be the start of her breast cancer diagnosis.
