The Walsh Sisters, The Traitors Ireland and Obituary Season 2 were among the big winners at the 2026 RTS Ireland Awards in Dublin on Thursday night.
Hosted by RTÉ at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, the annual awards recognised work across Irish television, from drama and entertainment to sport, journalism and factual programming.
Louise Duffy and Aisling Bonner presented the ceremony in front of around 400 guests from across the industry.
The Walsh Sisters won the Audience Choice Award, while Obituary Season 2 took the Scripted prize and The Traitors Ireland won in the Entertainment category.
There were also wins for NORAID: Irish America & The IRA in Factual Series, Ransom '79 in Factual Single and DJ Carey: Hero to Zero in Current Affairs.
In sport, RTÉ’s coverage of the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 won Live Sport Coverage, while Camogie: Inside the Championship took the award for Sports Documentary.
Elsewhere, Maddie + Triggs won Children's Programming, Housewife of the Year took Specialist Factual and Uncharted With Ray Goggins won Factual Entertainment.
Eric Roberts received the Breakthrough Talent Award, while writer and broadcaster Manchán Magan was honoured with the Outstanding Contribution Award.
