The Scratch, Oscar Blue, Talllon, and The Riptide Movement are among the established and new Irish acts set to play the inaugural Momentum Festival in Galway this May bank holiday weekend.
Tickets for the event from 1 to 4 of May in Oranmore are on sale now from ticketmaster.ie and the Momentum Festival website.
Festival organisers say that they have made a commitment to championing emerging Irish talent with the inclusion of Galway alt-rock four piece Talllon and Galway indie-folk band Groev playing support to The Scratch, Cliffords, and Madra Salach.

The Riptide Movement and Tracy Bruen will support The Stunning, and Calum Agnew and Oscar Blue will support The Coronas.
"A huge part of the impetus behind Momentum is the drive that co-founders Cian Burke and Trevor Cullinane have to support both local and up-and-coming artists," says Momentum's Commercial Director Olivia Breene.
"As a festival, we’re committed to championing rising talent across Ireland, with a strong focus on elevating our local Galway scene and giving artists a platform to grow beyond it.
"Which is why we’re so delighted to welcome Galway bands Talllon and Groev to The Crescendo Tent, as well as Oscar Blue, Calum Agnew, Tracy Bruen and The Riptide Movement - all of whom are just incredible opening acts for us to have during our first year.
"It’s so important to us that Momentum helps create opportunities for artists at the start of their careers and continues to support them as they grow."
