Warner Bros has confirmed that its long-gestating Ocean’s prequel is moving ahead, with Bradley Cooper and Margot Robbie set to star in the film, which is also being produced by Robbie’s LuckyChap banner.
The project was among the studio’s headline announcements at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
The film is due to open in cinemas on 25 June 2027, with Cooper attached to write, direct and star. Robbie is set to play opposite him in the new take on the franchise.
The Ocean’s update led a wider Warner Bros presentation that also included new footage from Dune: Part Three, Practical Magic 2, and DC title Clayface.
Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya and Jason Momoa appeared to introduce footage from Dune: Part Three, while Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman presented a first look at Practical Magic 2.
Warner Bros also showcased Digger, Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s new film starring Tom Cruise.
The presentation formed part of Warner Bros’ annual CinemaCon showcase for cinema owners, as the studio set out its upcoming theatrical slate.
