Actress Patsy Kensit and The Young Offenders stars Alex Murphy and Chris Walley are among the guests on this week's Late Late Show.
Kensit will join Patrick Kielty as she recalls travelling 242 miles around north-east England on the latest series of BBC's Pilgrimage. She will reveal how she found herself through faith and how her past traumas came to the surface on the journey of a lifetime to Holy Island. The soap favourite will also tease if she plans to return to Emmerdale.
After returning to the screen for another hit series of The Young Offenders, show stars Alex Murphy and Chris Walley will be live in studio. The lads will reflect on growing up playing their characters over the last ten years and why the show has stayed a hit with fans for its sharp wit, big heart and unmistakable Irish charm.
Country singer Cliona Hagan will perform a Shania Twain classic before making an announcement that could change one lucky singer’s life forever as The Late Late Show prepares to search for Ireland’s newest country music star on The Late Late Show Opening Act next Friday, 17 April.
Award-winning broadcaster Fergal Keane will open up about why he decided to retire from the BBC after 37 years as a journalist. He will look back at the highs and lows of reporting from the frontlines of global conflicts for almost four decades, and reflect on the personal toll it took on his mental health and the journey that followed.
Comedian and broadcaster Bernard O’Shea will be on the couch to tell viewers about his family life in Limerick, what it’s like to be a desperate "house husband" and the online success that has seen him go viral on social media.
Watch The Late Late Show on Friday at 9.35pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
