Irish actor Colm Meaney can be seen starring alongside Sally Field and Lewis Pullman in the official trailer for Netflix's adaptation of Shelby Van Pelt's bestselling novel, Remarkably Bright Creatures.
Meaney plays Ethan in the upcoming mystery drama movie, while two-time Academy Award–winning actor Field will play widow Tova.
Pullman stars as Cameron, a new-in-town character who forms an unlikely friendship with an octopus (voiced by Alfred Molina).

The official synopsis reads: "A widow (Sally Field) who works at a local aquarium finds joy again when she forms an unlikely bond with a Giant Pacific Octopus and a wayward young man (Lewis Pullman) who comes to town in search of family. Together, they will uncover a mystery that will lead them to a life-changing discovery and restore their sense of wonder. Based on the best-selling book."
Director Olivia Newman (Where the Crawdads Sing) co-wrote the script with John Whittington (Sonic the Hedgehog 3).
Joan Chen, Kathy Baker, Beth Grant, Sofia Black D'Elia will also star in the upcoming movie.
Remarkably Bright Creatures will premiere on Netflix on 8 May.
