Dancing with the Stars finalist Tolü Makay is set to play a headline gig in Dublin later this year.

Makay, who made it to the end of the popular RTÉ One show, with her professional dance partner Maciej Zięba, alongside celebrity contestants Katelyn Cummins, Eric Roberts, and Paudie Moloney, will take to the stage in The Sugar Club, on 26 November 2026.

Makay’s breakout moment came from a cover of The Saw Doctors’ emigration anthem N17, which went viral overnight.

Since then, the Nigerian-Irish alternative soul pop singer has performed across Europe and the US, supported Gabrielle in the 3Arena, and performed for the President of Ireland at his 80th Birthday.

Last month, Makay told RTÉ Entertainment that she signed up for DWTS with "zero" dance experience, and said she has blossomed during the series .

"Coming into the competition, I definitely knew that I was seeking some sort of, like, joy," she explained as she discussed her dancefloor adventures.

"The best way I can put it is Dancing with the Stars has given me a new life," she continued.

"I feel like my creative spark has come back. In the sense of, I feel I'm much more confident in pursuing anything creatively, moving forward, instead of doubting myself.

"I'm a complete student to this whole dancing world, and the fact that I'm even surprising myself each week, it's given me the confidence to at least try and dream to do something even more with the gifts that I don't even know I have."

Rose of Tralee star Katelyn Cummins went on to be crowned the winner of Dancing with the Stars 2026 after an emotional grand finale filled with big performances, happy tears and plenty of joy.
