It's love-triangle time on Tuesday's Fair City as Paul's exes Nicola and Orla cross paths.
Paul is surprised when Nicola unexpectedly arrives at Vino's, explaining that she's in Dublin for a shopping trip.
Eager to spend time with her, Paul asks Orla to mind Vino's for a few hours - claiming that Nicola has an important medical appointment to win Orla's sympathy.
Later, Orla encounters Paul and Nicola having a drink.
"Anyway, how did your hospital appointment go?" Orla asks.
"What appointment?" says Nicola.
"I never said we were going to the hospital," says Paul.
"You're not sick, are you?" says Orla.
"We'd lunch in Malone's Brasserie, then we hit the shops," smiles Nicola.
"You are such a liar!" Orla tells Paul.
