Five-time Grammy Award-nominated singer Josh Groban has praised Gavin James for his "talent" after the pair performed together on stage at Dublin's 3Arena on Sunday night.

Groban, who is currently travelling across Europe with his GEMS World Tour, thanked James, who was a special guest at the gig, for his "kindness".

In an Instagram video recorded in St Stephen's Green, the 45-year-old American musician said: "Dublin, you were absolutely amazing last night. Thank you so much for your love, for your energy, for your excitement."

He continued: "Thank you, Gavin James, for your talent and for your kindness."

The You Raise Me Up singer said everyone has been "so nice" to him during his visit to Ireland and revealed that Wicklow singer Hozier gifted him an "incredible scarf", which he adores.

He added: "Thank you to Hozier, who I adore, for this incredible scarf. What a guy!"

Groban, who next plays at The O2 in London on 1 April, enthusiastically signed off his video with a sweet goodbye, saying: "Dublin, I bloody love you. See you next time!"

The GEMS World Tour marks Groban's first world tour in ten years. The 21-city trek kicked off in Honolulu, making stops in Taipei, Singapore, Jakarta, Manila, Tokyo, Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Bahrain, and Dubai.

The tour will also stop off at Paris, Berlin, Frankfurt, and Dusseldorf before wrapping in Amsterdam.
