Belfast-Dundalk based four-piece Reillys have released their new single, Brother. We asked them the BIG questions . . .
The track is their third single and follows a busy 2025 which saw them play over 200 gigs, including a show at the Electric Picnic.

Speaking about Brother, they say, "It's a song about the importance of friendship in your 30s. As everyone begins to marry and have families, it's something we often take for granted.
"Inspired by Belfast's love of the word 'brother' as a way to describe a good male friend and how endearing that is to someone who moved up from Dublin."
Tell us three things about yourself . . .
Mark (bass): We played over 200 gigs last year and held an awards dinner amongst ourselves to award our favourites/least favourites.
We have tried the coffee at every single cafe in Belfast and have a ranking system - our singer gets upset by small cups.
We're a very cool, marketable band.
How would you describe your music?
Mark: Anthemic Celtic folk with dream pop influences.
Who are your musical inspirations?
Katie (violin): The Cranberries, The Waterboys, Fleetwood Mac.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
Bry: I went to see Five at The Point Depot. There was a new English lad in my class and he'd been bragging that his Dad wrote the songs for Five. All the girls were very impressed and Five became the biggest boyband in our school immediately. I had to go to the gig for social standing.
What was the first record you ever bought?
Josh: Metallica's Black Album. I ruined my family's trip to Florida.
What’s your favourite song right now?
Josh: DJO's cover of Gasoline by Haim.
Favourite lyric of all time?
Kaie: "Music is a world within itself with a language we all understand, With an equal opportunity for all to sing, dance and clap their hands" - Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Bry: Rock 'n’ Roll Kids by Paul Harrington and Charlie McGettigan. Timeless.

Where can people find your music/more information?
We're @reillysband on all social media but Instagram is where we look the most popular. Our new single Brother is on streaming sites as well. It's very good.
