She draws influence primarily from funeral dirges and early Gregorian chants, channelling artists like PJ Harvey, David Byrne, and Radiohead.
Foote adopted the moniker Sir Chloe in 2017 and released her debut EP Party Favors in 2020, followed by the albums Swallow the Knife and I Am the Dog.

In my daily life I only wear two colours.
I went to Jesus camp for five years.

How would you describe your music?
From my own perspective; loud, cathartic, and visceral.
Who are your musical inspirations?
I get most of my musical inspiration from movies.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
NSYNC. I was young enough to sit on my dad's shoulders and wrap my arms around his forehead.
What was the first record you ever bought?
The title escapes me now but it was a Béla Bartók record. The second one was Nikki Nack by Tune-Yards.
What’s your favourite song right now?
I've had Footloose by Kenny Loggins stuck in my head all day.
Favourite lyric of all time?
That's always changing.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
The Ocean by Richard Hawley.
