The pinnacle of the cinema awards season - the Oscars - are just over a week away.
Irish Oscar nominees are already heading to LA for this year's ceremony on 15 March.
Today the red carpet was rolled out in Dublin airport for director John Kelly, whose short film "Retirement Plan" has been nominated in the category of Best Animated Short.
