Tell us three things about yourself . . .
I'm from Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow.
In April, I’ll be releasing my debut EP. It’s called Rayleigh Scattering.
I’m afraid of ostriches.
How would you describe your music?
My music is a mesh of synths and electronic drums with shoegazey, chorusy guitars and vocals sprinkled on top. Sometimes no guitar.
Who are your musical inspirations?
The music that first inspired me was alternative/grunge artists like Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Screaming Trees etc. I still listen to all of those bands regularly and they will always show up somewhere in my music. Low and Arthur Russell are two artists that I always listen to and think about when making music. The versatility and constant quality of their music is very inspiring. In the last few years, I’ve been heavily into some more electronic-leaning artists like ML Buch, Oklou, Tirzah and User2222.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
Simply Red with my parents and sister, I still love hearing their tunes.
What was the first record you ever bought?
Bleach by Nirvana. I had been given other albums but I think Bleach was the first one I bought myself.
What’s your favourite song right now?
Flowers by Danny Brown and 8485. I’ve been listening to both of their most recent albums a lot.
Favourite lyric of all time?
"Boy wants a car from his dad, Dad says, 'First, you got to cut that hair.’ Boy says, ‘Hey, Dad, Jesus had long hair,’ and Dad says, ‘That’s right, son, Jesus walked everywhere’ - The Frontier Index by Silver Jews. I’m a big fan of David Berman’s lyrics.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Bum Bum Bum by Cass McCombs, absolutely floored me when I first heard it.

Where can people find your music/more information?
