U2 have released a new short documentary film to accompany Yours Eternally, the closing track from their recently released Days of Ash EP.
The 4½-minute film, inspired by the song featuring Ed Sheeran and Ukrainian singer Taras Topolia, was released on Tuesday, 24 February, to mark the fourth anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Directed by Ukrainian cinematographer and filmmaker Ilya Mikhaylus, the documentary was shot in December 2025 while he and his crew were embedded with the Khartiya Corps in the Kharkiv region.
The film follows Alina and fellow soldiers on the front line, capturing their day-to-day lives during the war. It forms part of a wider documentary project, with a full-length film due for release at the end of 2026.
In a statement, Mikhaylus said: "For four years, Ukraine has been resisting Russia’s full-scale invasion, and the soldiers of the Khartiya Corps are among the hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians defending their homeland."
He added that the short film, and the planned feature documentary, aim to show "the beating human heart" of the men and women serving, and "the struggles and sacrifices they are making everyday for the most sacred thing on this planet - freedom".
The film was produced by Pyotr Verzilov, with executive producers Maksym Serdiuk and Artem Hryhorian of KNIFE! Films.
Yours Eternally appears on U2's six-track Days of Ash EP, released last week, and features Ed Sheeran and Taras Topolia.
