Singer Niamh Kavanagh has said that competing on Dancing with the Stars has given her a new lease of life and she is looking forward to what's ahead.
The Eurovision winner and her professional dance partner Stephen Vincent lost out in the dance-off on Sunday night's show, but the Dubliner said it had been "such a beautiful experience" that she would "miss everybody".
"I think the most important thing I've learned is how joyful it is," she said of pushing herself out of her comfort zone on DWTS.
Having told herself for 40 years that she "couldn't dance", Kavanagh said she would now "urge as many people as possible to find their joy in dance" and "feel like a million dollars".
"I feel considering where I started, I became much better than I ever thought I would be," she smiled.
Kavanagh said DWTS had reminded her that if you do something "with your full heart and you just give it your best, nothing is ever not worth doing then".
"If nothing else, it has reawakened that in me," she continued.
"I have to admit, I was starting to sit on the sofa thinking, 'That's grand. I'll just do the things I'm good at'.
"I am so excited to think what I might do next because I have found that energy that I always used to have. I was curious in the world. And I always had it, and I just was getting a bit relaxed, I'm not going to lie."
"My poor husband is slightly nervous!" she concluded on her future plans. "I haven't been home for a few weeks!"
Next Sunday is the hundredth episode of the show.
