"I've always been, like, a real confident, out-there person, do you know what I mean?" said James as he discussed his decision to sign up for First Dates Ireland. "There's no messing, you get what you get!"
"I was on all the dating profiles - Hinge, Tinder, just full of situationships. It's not for me," he continued.
"I went on that (First Dates Ireland) looking for my wife - and I found her!"
"So, whenever Fayth walked in, did you know?" asked Patrick Kielty.

"Ah, I knew straight away," replied James. "Soon as I saw her, I said, 'That's the one for me!' 100%."
"He's a very confident person, as you all can tell!" said Fayth.
"So, once I knew that, I knew he was the one then for me as well."
"He's obviously very confident about what he wants," said the host. "I know that you were very straightforward about what you wanted going forward. You are someone who wanted to start a family. Sooner rather than later."
"At 18, I was diagnosed with endometriosis," Fayth recounted.
"[I] was told it was a very slim chance I would ever have kids, was told at 25 it would be very likely I would have to get my womb taken out.
"So, yeah, it was hard to hear so young, especially always loving children and wanting to have my own."
"Well, look, you have stayed together," said Patrick Kielty. "This man's got a smile on his face beside you. I've a smile on my face because I know you've got some news to share tonight."
"Yeah, so, we're having a baby!" smiled Fayth.
