Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have attended a court-ordered settlement conference in New York in a legal dispute connected to the film It Ends with Us.
The conference took place at the US District Court for the Southern District of New York and was overseen by US Magistrate Judge Sarah L. Cave. Settlement conferences are typically confidential and aim to determine whether a case can be resolved without going to trial.
Lively sued Baldoni in December 2024, alleging sexual harassment and retaliation linked to the making of the film. Baldoni denies the allegations.
A trial is currently scheduled to begin on 18 May 2026, though that timetable could cha nge depending on pre-trial rulings or any agreement reached by the parties.
In June 2025, a US judge dismissed Baldoni's $400m defamation lawsuit against Lively, and also dismissed his related lawsuit against The New York Times.
