Stick to Football guests Ant and Dec have tried to talk Roy Keane into doing I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, only for the former Republic of Ireland captain to shut it down, telling them to: "Dream on, lads, dream on."
The presenting duo recently joined the podcast line-up of Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Jill Scott, Ian Wright and Keane.
Neville asked if Keane had ever had an offer to go into the jungle.
"A couple of times, yeah," Keane replied, before dismissing the idea.
Ant joked: "Do we need to just go back to ITV today with something signed?" while Dec suggested Keane write down a figure for them to bring back.
Keane pushed back, saying: "Why is it about numbers? Everyone thinks it is about numbers."
A number of Irish names have taken on the challenge over the years, including Westlife singer Kian Egan, who won the 2013 series.
Comedian Andrew Maxwell and Derry singer Nadine Coyle both appeared in 2019, while model and TV personality Nadia Forde was a contestant in 2014.
More recently, former world champion boxer Barry McGuigan, Northern Irish DJ Dean McCullough and reality star Maura Higgins were among the Irish contestants in the 2024 series.
