Actor Gerard Jordan, who is best known for playing Steo Nash in Fair City, has shared that he's expecting his ninth child with his partner, Jo.
The couple, who have been together for the past 12 years, welcomed their eighth child, a daughter named Halo, last year. They are also parents to Jasper, Hugo, River, Sage, Saint, Zen, and Enzo.
In a post on Instagram, the actor shared a video of a baby scan with the caption "Baby number 9...".
In an interview with the Irish Independent last June, Jordan spoke about how becoming a father at 25 profoundly changed his life.
"I have always loved the idea of a full, lively house. The kind of place where there is always laughing or someone needing a snack or needing something," he explained.
Jordan noted that his acting career took a back seat after he started his family.
"You have to pay the bills and unfortunately with the acting stuff, it pays the bills when it's good, but when it’s bad, you could be out of work for a year or six months… so I had to do something else."
The RTÉ One star also revealed that his daughter River enjoys watching him on the hit soap, adding: "River loves watching it and calls when I am on."
