Irish actress and The Celebrity Traitors contestant Ruth Codd told Friday's Late Late Show that she is living her "new normal" and looking forward to what comes next after undergoing a second leg amputation.
The 29-year-old had one leg amputated when she was 23, following an injury she sustained while playing football aged 15 that did not heal properly.
Last November, she announced she had undergone a second below-knee amputation.
When asked by Late Late host Patrick Kielty how her recovery is going, the Wexford woman replied: "I walked on there tonight!"
After cheers from the audience, Codd was asked how "you put your head in a place when you have the second amputation to keep moving in a positive way".
"I could have done without it, you know what I mean?" the 29-year-old said. "But it was the same situation as the first."
"My life is different, but in a good way" ❤️

"A lot of [the] time people say to me, 'Oh, well, you chose it - it was your choice because it was an elective amputation'. But I'm like, 'Surgeons just don't go chopping off limbs willy-nilly'," she continued.
"It was the only way for my quality of life to improve. And I'm not willing to spend my entire life in a hospital bed for the sake of keeping a leg that doesn't work.
"It was a hard decision, but I had to do it. You get used to your new normal. I'm not going to say that my life is the same. It's different, but in a good way, I think."
The Midnight Club star has recently returned to horse riding.
When asked about her future projects, Codd said: "Well, I was kind of hoping, like, The Toy Show! Get some kid to lie or something that I'm their hero! I would love to be on The Toy Show."
She will also star in the upcoming miniseries of Stephen King's horror classic Carrie.
"It was brilliant, fun to film - especially because I love horrors," she enthused.
Saluting his fellow guest, comedian and actor John Bishop said: "I've never met anybody who's so easily as brave as you.
"You're talking about what you've been through with nonchalance, and then you're talking about a career that people could only dream of as if you work in Kwik Save! You're amazing. I mean, you carry it so well."
"Ah no, family keep me grounded, now!" Codd replied.
