Holly tries to apologise to Hayley for being patronising, but Hayley isn't receptive in Sunday's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
The tension is always sky-high between the two women because they are both mothers to James's sons.
"I'm trying to apologise here," says Holly in Sunday's episode.
"Are you, though?" replies Hayley. "Or are you trying to have another dig about how supposedly busy your life is compared to mine?"
"Yeah, don't feel bad about yourself," says Holly as she turns on her heels. "Being a stay-at-home mum is a job too."
