DJ Fat Tony has claimed Nicola Peltz Beckham was left in tears at her wedding to Brooklyn Beckham after his mother, Victoria Beckham, ended up dancing with him.

The DJ, who performed at the three-day wedding, said US singer Marc Anthony was on stage when he asked for "the most beautiful woman in the room" to come to the stage, with guests expecting it would be Nicola for her first dance with Brooklyn.

Instead, Fat Tony said Anthony called Victoria to the stage and asked her to dance with her son, prompting Nicola to leave the room crying.

Speaking on ITV’s This Morning, he said: "There was no slutdropping, there was no black cat PVC catsuits, there was no Spice Girl action. What it was, and why I said it was inappropriate as well, was because it was the timing."

He added: "Marc Anthony was performing on stage, he then called Brooklyn onto stage. Brooklyn went onto the stage, and the next minute everyone’s expecting it to be Nicola to go up and do the first dance, and then Marc asked for the most beautiful woman in the room to come to the stage and then he says, ‘Victoria, come to the stage’."

Fat Tony claimed Brooklyn was "devastated" because he believed he was about to have his first dance with his wife, and said Nicola "leaves the room crying her eyes out".

He also said Anthony directed Brooklyn to "put your hands on your mother’s hips", describing it as "a Latin thing", and said the moment was "really awkward for everyone in the room".

The comments come after Brooklyn issued a public statement this week in which he made a number of allegations about his parents, including claiming they have controlled narratives about the family in the press and tried to undermine his relationship with Nicola.

He also alleged his mother "hijacked" the first dance at his wedding and danced "inappropriately" with him, adding he had never felt more "uncomfortable or humiliated" in his life.

Brooklyn also claimed his wife had been "disrespected" by his family and was not invited to his father’s 50th birthday party. In his statement, he said he does not want to "reconcile" with his family.

Earlier this week, David Beckham appeared to respond to the statement when he spoke about social media during an interview with CNBC’s Squawk Box. He said it can be used "for the good and for the bad", and that "children are allowed to make mistakes".

His parents, known as Posh and Becks, have two other sons, Cruz and Romeo, and a daughter Harper.

Brooklyn, David and Victoria Beckham have been contacted for comment.
