Speaking about their new song, they say, "Reactions is a song about frustration. But more importantly about breaking free from that frustration.

"Really asking ourselves what we're looking for, what we are looking at, and how we want to be perceived. Does true freedom lie in not caring how we are perceived?

They add, "Reactions is a gateway into the sound of Bold Boy. The sound that we've been trying to discover, since we started. Bombastic, yet sensitive. Familiar, but something new."

Tell us three things about yourself . . .

Wayne's World is my favourite movie, I'm currently rereading The Lord Of The Rings, I once had a conversation with the actor Ray Winston about a cow I happened to be holding at the time.

How would you describe your music?

I think alt-rock is probably the most apt. We often flow from rock, to punk, to indie rock sounds all within one song

Who are your musical inspirations?

Jack White, more specifically The White Stripes, were always a huge one for me. Punk sensibilities applied to rock and indie rock sounds. Growing up though I was genuinely inspired by loads of classic Rock, and everything from Coldplay to System Of A Down.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

Robert Plant and the Strange Sensations in a park in Toronto. We were visiting some family there when I was 13, and my dad spotted a poster for the gig that night! I'd just started getting into my dad’s music collection and Led Zeppelin. They even did a few Zeppelin tunes.

What was the first record you ever bought?

Consolers of the Lonely by The Raconteurs, and From Under The Cork Tree by Fallout Boy, which I bought at the same time when I was 14.

What’s your favourite song right now?

Gila Monster by King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.

Favourite lyric of all time?

"Your heart is like a flower as it grows. And it's the rain, not just the sun that helps it bloom" - Noah and The Whale

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I mean, it's Bohemian Rhapsody, isn’t it?
