Tell us three things about yourself . . .

I was born in Wales but grew up in Yorkshire. I'm an old man at heart and love pork pies and fly fishing. I’m a 90s movie buff and can quote all of Hook, Jurassic Park and Robin Hood Prince of Thieves.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

Sheffield blues legend Frank White at Victoria Quays when I was 11. It was that gig that made me want to be a singer.

Pearl - Janis Joplin.

What’s your favourite song right now?

Man I Need - Olivia Dean.

Favourite lyric of all time?

It’s gotta be anything by Tom waits. "Never trust a man in a blue trench coat/never drive a car when you’re dead".
