Golden Globe winner Jessie Buckley has reunited with The Lost Daughter writer-director Maggie Gyllenhaal for The Bride!.
It is billed as "a bold, iconoclastic take on one of the world's most compelling stories" and comes to cinemas in March.
The Bride! also stars Christian Bale, Peter Sarsgaard, Annette Bening, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Penélope Cruz.
Teeing up what's ahead, studio Warner Bros said: "A lonely Frankenstein's Monster (Christian Bale) travels to 1930s Chicago to ask ground-breaking scientist Dr Euphronious (Annette Bening) to create a companion for him.
"The two revive a murdered young woman and The Bride (Jessie Buckley) is born.
"What ensues is beyond what either of them imagined: Murder! Possession! A wild and radical cultural movement! And outlaw lovers in a wild and combustible romance!"
The Bride! will be released in cinemas on Friday 6 March.
Buckley can currently be seen opposite Paul Mescal in director Chloé Zhao's Hamnet.
