It is his fifth release and continues the momentum following his 2024 comeback album, 夢 (Dream) and previous albums, Chaos Revolutionary Theories (2007), Am I Worthy Of The Title Human Being (2009), and the ambitious 2013 quadruple album, The Undiscovered Caverns Of The Human Psychosis I-IV.
Tell us three things about yourself . . .
I am originally from Dublin. Despite my French artist name, the moniker actually stems from a nickname I earned on the football pitch for wearing white boots.
I previously released music under the name The Unknown Pleasures. One of our tracks featured on a college album that reached number 11 on the Irish compilation charts in 2005.
I am an avid player of Football Manager - so much so that I joke it is my second job. My hiatus from music between 2013 and 2024 might be partially attributed to my dedication to the game.
How would you describe your music?
It is quite eclectic, but I would classify it primarily as moody dream pop. One of the greatest compliments I have received was a listener comparing my sound to David Bowie.
Who are your musical inspirations?
I grew up listening to a wide variety of genres, but my primary influences include The Cure, Depeche Mode, Muse, Radiohead, Manic Street Preachers, and The Strokes.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
The first concert I attended was The Monkees reunion at The Point when I was about 12 or 13. The first "proper" gigs I bought tickets for myself were likely Muse or Radiohead.
What was the first record you ever bought?
The first records I purchased with my own money were Turn by Feeder and a "Best of" collection by Wham! and George Michael. To this day, George Michael remains a guilty pleasure, though I can confirm my feet have got no rhythm.
What's your favourite song right now?
I have been listening to the new Gorillaz releases on repeat, especially since I am looking forward to seeing them perform this April.
Favourite lyric of all time?
As a huge Richey Edwards fan, I love the opening line from the Manics' B-side Donkeys: "Put some lipstick on, at least your lies will be pretty". It is truly phenomenal.
From my own work, I would choose: "I’ve sailed as many oceans as Ferdinand Magellan, I went to space before Gagarin," from the track Another Love Song on my album, The Undiscovered Caverns Of The Human Psychosis part IV.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I am a massive admirer of Julian Casablancas. I would happily choose Human Sadness by his band The Voidz; it was my top-played song on my year-end wrap last year.
Where can people find your music/more information?
My music is available on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming platforms.
