12 Irish acts to play Sessions from Oblivion in Galway and Dublin

Twelve Irish acts will play over three days this month in Dublin and Galway as part of the new series of Sessions from Oblivion for RTÉ 2fm.

Hosted by Beta Da Silva, the gigs will be broadcast on 2fm's New Music show in February and March.

Local acts Aimee Carty and Shark School, along with Limerick’s Theatre, and Adore will play a free show at Róisín Dubh in Galway on Wednesday 21 January.

The Dublin shows take place on 7 and 8 of January as part of Whelan’s annual Ones to Watch mini-festival, which features upcoming acts.

Kildare pop rockers thanks mom, Vera, and Belfast’s Kiing Sequence, and Becky McNeice will play the venue on 7 January.

On Thursday 8 January, Dublin’s electro pop/rockers, Essiray and Pastiche will play and also on the bill are rapper from Fortune Igiebor, and Filmore.
