RTÉ has unveiled a promo trailer for the new season of Dancing with the Stars, which begins in January.
The broadcaster says the new clip "provides a glimpse into the glitz, glamour and photo booth shenanigans that await in the New Year!"
Now in its ninth year. Dancing with the Stars returns on Sunday 4 January at 6:30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
Twelve new contestants will do battle for the glitterball trophy on the new series, under the watchful eye of judges Oti Mabuse, Brian Redmond, Arthur Gourounlian, and Karen Byrne and presenters Jennifer Zamparelli and her new co-host Laura Fox.
The twelve celebrities vying for the glitterball trophy this year are Eurovision winner and singer Niamh Kavanagh, Paudie Moloney from The Traitors Ireland, reigning Rose of Tralee Katelyn Cummins, comedian and actor Michael Fry, Fair City actress Stephanie Kelly, television presenter Eric Roberts, Olympic medal winning rower and doctor Philip Doyle, musician Tolü Makay, podcaster Amber Wilson, Nationwide presenter Anne Cassin, Apprentice UK finalist Jordan Dargan, and singer -songwriter Brian Kennedy
Three new professional dancers, Arianna Favaro, Leonardo Lini, and James Cutler, join returning dancers Laura Nolan, Robert Rowiński, Ervinas Merfeldas, Stephen Vincent, Kylee Vincent, Maciej Zieba, Rebecca Scott, Daniela Roze and Alex Vladimirov.
