Bord Gáis Energy Theatre has issued an open casting call for its next in-house production, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma!, which is due to run from 19 June to 5 July 2026 at the Dublin venue.
The theatre is inviting professional performers to submit a self-tape audition by 20 December 2025, as it looks to cast nine principal roles as well as an ensemble of "triple-threat" performers. Applicants are asked to email a CV, headshot, voice and dance reel, and a self-tape audition to casting@bgetheatre.ie.
The principal roles being cast include Curly McLain, Laurey Williams, Jud Fry, Ado Annie Carnes, Will Parker, Aunt Eller Murphy, Ali Hakim, Andrew Carnes and Gertie Cummings.
Tickets for the production are on sale through Ticketmaster, priced from €29.80.
First staged on Broadway in 1943, Oklahoma! received a Pulitzer special citation in 1944 and has remained one of musical theatre’s best-known titles. A recent major revival won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 2019, while the 1955 film adaptation was added to the US National Film Registry in 2007.
